We are going to focus on the Deduplicate processing whose configuration is specific.
Deduplicate processing identifies duplicates present in your database for Accounts and Contacts.
The rules activated by default are the standard DQE rules, customizing the rules will be described in "DQE Rules".

- Phone + Name
- Full Address + Name

- Email + Last Name + First Name
- Phone + Mobile Phone + Last Name + First Name
- Full Address + Last Name + First Name
- “General” screen: identical to a classic treatment
- “Advanced” screen: identical to conventional processing except for the control
By default, this field is set to “No” if you set it to “Yes”, you authorize the merging of duplicates which will be identified during processing.
However, you have the possibility to “adjust” the certainty of detection of duplicates using the “Threshold” gauge:
The most used value being 85%.

NB : we recommend not to use the “Auto Merge Duplicates” function without having first carried out tests and a study of the results obtained, in particular in the event of customization of the deduplication rules.
