Once you have finished Adding a Manual Merge Button to a List View, it will be available to perform a merge of selected groups.
- To perform a merge of a single group, select one record from the duplicate group and select Manual Merge.
All records from the selected group are displayed.
Column widths can be adjusted to show more or less of the fields displayed.
Select the records from the group that you wish to merge or select the checkbox at the top of the column to select all records.
Click Next when you have selected your records.
DQE One will display the Parent Record on the left as well as any Child Records to the right. Only the fields where the value is different from the Parent Record will display.
Select the fields for the values you wish to retain from the Child Records.
Select Next.
Records are deleted when merged. To have the records moved to your recycle bin in the event you need to recover the deleted records, turn on “Use Salesforce Default Merge”.

When you click Next, you will have the option to select the values from the fields that you wish to retain. When you click Skip Group, none of the records from that group will be selected for merging.
The Confirm Merge screen will appear after each duplicate group has been selected.
