What is the DQE Standalone platform?
The DQE Standalone platform is designed for Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service teams. It provides a powerful customer data quality management solution that runs within your own IT environment, with no dependency on third-party services.
With a modern and intuitive interface compatible with leading business tools, users can import data files, run automated quality checks, and export cleaned datasets in just one click.
What types of data sources can I import?
You can import data using several methods, including:
- CSV file uploads
- Salesforce integration
- Microsoft Dynamics integration
- SFTP connection
Is there a file size limit for imports?
There is no hard limit on file size for data imports.
Can I export my results as a CSV file?
Yes. After processing, you can:
- Export results as a CSV file.
- View and filter results directly in the user interface.
Can I schedule automated processing?
Yes. The platform allows you to:
- Schedule recurring processes: hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly.
- Chain processes so that one starts automatically after another finishes.
How long does data processing take?
Processing time ranges from a few seconds to several minutes, depending on:
- Data volume
- The number and complexity of applied rules
- The type of processing, such as standardization or deduplication
The system is optimized for performance and scales based on data size and process complexity.
Can I rerun a previous job?
Yes. You can reprocess any previous job directly from the job history. This lets you reuse the same parameters or make small changes without starting over.
Are there preconfigured templates for common use cases?
Yes. The platform includes built-in deduplication rules for common use cases such as:
- Account deduplication
- Contact deduplication
- Lead deduplication
These ready-to-use rules help you get started quickly.
However, full process templates are not preconfigured, as they depend heavily on the structure and field names in your data, which vary between organizations.
Is there a training or onboarding guide?
Yes. DQE provides demo guides covering essentials such as setting up connections and using different processes. These resources are designed to help your teams get up and running quickly.
You can find them in the Standalone – How to's documentation.
Can I view or download activity logs?
You can view detailed activity logs within the platform. Each job includes a full timeline of actions, rules, and results.
Note: logs are available for viewing only. Downloading logs is not supported.
Is the platform available in multiple languages?
Currently, the Standalone platform is available in English only to ensure a consistent user experience and support.
Is my data secure with DQE Standalone?
The DQE One Standalone app operates with a PostgreSQL database. By default, it uses a local instance to store all application data, including input and output files from data quality processes.
All sensitive information, such as external credentials, is encrypted using a key either provided by the administrator or dynamically generated by the app.
When working with external data sources, the retrieved data is never stored. Only the output file may be temporarily saved, unless you have selected the option to automatically push the results back to the original source.
Some data quality processes run by the DQE One Standalone app may call external APIs hosted on DQE Software servers. Otherwise, data processing is handled locally.
For a complete data lifecycle flow diagram, refer to the technical documentation.
Where can I view job details and history?
You can access the full history and processing details directly from the platform: MyDQE.
