Added the possibility, when validating the customer file, to open an additional web page for contact entry.

1. Settings

The URL of the contact creation web page must be set in a new parameter in the menus below:

If the URL of the contact web page parameter is set, this enables the contact creation function
via the web page.

The fields in the CONTACT table are available in the ZRELCHAMPY2 table, which can be accessed
from the menu below

It is also possible to add free fields to this CONTACT table using the following function:

Remember: the fields to be displayed on the Web page are defined by the URL transmitted to the WEB page.

The fields in the URL are based on the parameters of the fields in the contact form.

2. Process

When validating the customer file, after the customer file data has been saved in the database, we open a pop-up requesting access to the contact entry web page for modifying or creating contact(s).

The pop-up message is: "Would you like to access the contact entry page?" with the choice of Yes or No:

If you answer "Yes

  • The WEB contact form is automatically opened.
  • In this web page, contacts already created can be displayed, and it is possible to modify or enter contacts.
  • When this WEB form is validated, the creation or modification of contacts in the
  • Y2 database will be managed by the partner with calls to WS Y2 (Service:
  • "Customer.CreateContact", "Customer.GetContacts" and
  • "Customer.UpdateContact").
  • Closing the Y2 customer master record can be automatic, depending on the settings chosen by the customer in the Establishment settings form(*)

If the answer is "No":

  • Closing the Y2 customer file can be automatic, depending on the settings
    chosen by the customer in the Establishment(*) settings file.
