To use the English (UK and US) translations for this connector, import the corresponding text file provided in the package.

Example file: 25032019_UK_US_QUALITY CUSTOMER DATA.txt

The example below shows how to import the translation in British English. Make sure you sign in with a user account that has the required access rights for this operation.

Import the Translation File

  1. From the home page, go to Administration > Multilingual > Translation.

  2. In the header, select the language you want to import.

  3. In the icon bar, click the Import private dictionary icon.

    Caution: do not use the Import dictionary option.

  4. Select the Quality customer data dictionary.

  5. Using Windows Explorer, select the file to import.

  6. Confirm the file import.

  7. The import starts. Once it is complete, check that the import has succeeded.

  8. Enter a term in the French field and validate it.

  9. The translation should appear in blue, which indicates that it comes from a private dictionary.

Check the Translation in RETAIL Y2

  1. Go to Specifics.
  2. Check that the translation is effective.

Note: it may be necessary to restart the IIS servers to update cached information.
