DQE validation results may not be updated in Salesforce when the validation process does not run correctly, when result fields are not mapped as expected, or when Salesforce configuration prevents the update from being saved.
Common symptoms
- validation results remain empty;
- results are updated for some records but not others;
- results are visible during testing but not saved on the record;
- the issue affects a specific object, user profile, or Salesforce environment;
- the behavior starts after a deployment, package update, or sandbox refresh.
What to check first
- Verify that the expected result fields exist.
- Check that result fields are mapped correctly.
- Confirm that affected users can read and update the required fields.
- Review Salesforce rules, flows, triggers, and automation that may affect the record.
- Compare the behavior with another user, object, or environment.
When to contact DQE Support
